External ultrafiltration membrane units (CMF)

Home > Products & Technologies > UF

BOW’s CMF external ultrafiltration membrane units are  newly developed ultrafiltration serial products which are being applied to drinking water equipment, pre-treatment for RO, industrial wastewater and municipal wastewater reclamation. The membrane is being made from polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) which features high flux, great mechanical strength, and better fouling resistance. The incredibly high porosity, as well as the outstanding hydrophilia gives CMF its strong fouling resistance and high operational flux.

Product features

Long lifespan: special process ensures high mechanical strength without membrane breakage; Good quality  effluent: nominal membrane pores are smaller than 0.02μm these pores remove microbes including giardia and cryptosporidium which ensures reliable and safe effluent;

Good oxidative resistance: oxidative resistant to all  mediums, excluding strong solvents, such as: salt, acid, alkali, arene and halogen

Permanently hydrophilic: special process ensures the membrane to be permanently hydrophilic;

Strong fouling resistance: besides hydrophilia, the special construction design improves fouling resistance;

Detachable construction: better assimilative capacity, long service life, relatively low replacement cost as only the membrane needs to be replaced instead of the membrane and housings.

Applications

major equipment in water supply plants;

RO pretreatment;

More in depth treatment of industrial and municipal wastewater.
