Business scope
(1)Scientific intelligence
BOW R&D Centre is based in Beijing Yanxi Economic Development Area, which covers a land of 55000 m2. The R&D Centre is engaged in membrane material manufacturing, membrane equipment manufacturing and membrane applicable technology R&D and technology services.
BOW reinvest 5% of its annual income every year into R&D, there are about 600 scientific staff dedicate their intelligence in here. Up to now, over 300 hundred of patents have been authorized, and BOW has won the second prize of State Scientific Technology Progress Award, the first prize of Scientific Technology of Ministry of Education and has been undertaken China’s Significant Water Project, “863 Plan”, “State Science and Technology Support Programme” and some other national tasks. Moreover, Doctoral Workstation, State Engineering Technology Centre have been established, joint-R&D Centres with Tsinghua University and New South Wales University have been built one after another.
(2)Innovative technology
BOW is the pioneer and front runner of wastewater reclamation technology in China, as well as the founder of membrane bioreactor (MBR) application in large scale project in China. BOW is leading China’s membrane bioreactor (MBR) technology and manufacturing industry, and now is at the third position in the world membrane field.
The complete industrial membrane technology (microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration and RO) is independent intellectual property of BOW, who is the only enterprise that integrates membrane material development, membrane equipment preparation and membrane process application into an organic whole one.
(3)Patents
Till now, BOW has over 300 patents being authorized and masters nearly 1000 know-how technology, won the second prize of State Scientific Technology Progress Award, the first prize of Scientific Technology of Ministry of Education and some other honours.

(5)Membrane R&D Centre
BOW has built the biggest membrane R&D centre in Asia, while there are Doctoral Workshops and National MBR Engineering Technology Centre for Environmental Protection, and joint R&D centres with Tsinghua University and New South Wales University.
